If your microphone isn’t working during calls, follow these steps to quickly identify and fix the issue:

Check Your Device Microphone
Make sure your device’s microphone is functioning normally.
Try recording a short audio clip — if it plays back correctly, the microphone itself is working.

Verify Microphone Permission
Ensure that JusTalk has permission to access your microphone in your device settings.
Without this permission, the app will not be able to capture audio.

iOS Users Only: Check Screen Time Restrictions
If you are using an iPhone or iPad, Screen Time settings may block microphone access.
Go to:
Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions
Make sure restrictions are disabled, or
Confirm that the Microphone permission is not set to “Don’t Allow”
If microphone access is restricted here, JusTalk will not be able to request permission.
