Having Trouble Receiving Call or Message Notifications on Amazon Devices?

If you’re not receiving call or message notifications on your Amazon device, the issue is usually caused by system-level settings, not the JusTalk app itself. Here are some common reasons and how to fix them.

 

Common Reasons Notifications May Not Work
Many Amazon devices use aggressive system optimization and battery-saving features that may:
  • Restrict apps from running in the background
  • Delay or block notifications
  • Prevent calls or messages from arriving on time

 

How to Fix It: Disable Battery Optimization
Please follow the steps below to ensure JusTalk can deliver notifications properly:
  1. Open Settings on your device
  2. Go to Apps & Notifications
  3. Tap Special App Access
  4. Select Battery Optimization
  5. Find and tap JusTalk
  6. Choose Don’t Optimize
This allows JusTalk to run in the background and receive calls and messages in real time.

 

Additional Tips
  • Make sure notifications are enabled for JusTalk
  • Check that Do Not Disturb mode is turned off
  • Ensure your device is connected to a stable network
  • Keep the app updated to the latest version
