Sticker Creation Requirements

General Requirements

Both static and animated stickers must meet the following requirements:

  • Maintain consistent character designs, illustration styles, and color palettes throughout the sticker pack.
  • Each sticker should clearly convey an emotion, action, or conversational meaning.
  • Avoid creating multiple stickers that express nearly identical meanings.
  • Make sure facial expressions and key actions remain clear and recognizable when the sticker is displayed at a smaller size.
  • Leave adequate space between the main subject and the edges of the canvas to prevent important elements from being cropped.
  • Stickers must not be blurry or contain noticeable jagged edges, unwanted white or black edge halos, watermarks, or transparent-edge artifacts.
  • If a sticker contains text, only English is currently supported. The text must be clear and legible and must not cover the main character or subject.

We recommend prioritizing content that is useful in everyday conversations, such as greetings, thanks, apologies, responses, happiness, sadness, surprise, encouragement, congratulations, and farewells.

Additional Requirements for Animated Stickers

If you create animated stickers, they must also meet the following requirements:

Item Requirement
Animation duration Each animation must be no longer than 3 seconds
Frame rate 18 FPS is recommended
Action design A complete animation should contain one or two main actions
Looping The animation must loop seamlessly, with a natural transition between the first and last frames and no noticeable frame jumps
Playback experience Movements should be smooth and natural, with an appropriate pace that is neither too fast nor too slow
Source asset resolution Imported source assets must be at least 360 × 360 px

Production recommendations:

  • Use vector assets or high-resolution PNG files whenever possible to ensure clear exported results.
  • Use clear color blocks and relatively bold lines, and avoid excessive fine lines or complex gradients.
  • Minimize unnecessary frames, layers, and complex animation effects while maintaining the intended animation quality.
  • Avoid flashing, rapid flickering, or other effects that may negatively affect the viewing experience.
